Hey there

Hello! My Name is Nick and my Partner Zoe and I run the Gay Parents Group and also the Ladies Nights. We also go along to most Over 30s Nights too. Completely appreciate what you say about Surrey and that life can be lonely and especially if you've just moved recently too. BUT... we are here and ready to meet up and say hello!!

The Parents Gp, Ladies Night and the Over 30s Night meet once a month. We have a Parents Group meeting in Woking on Tuesday 19th Feb at 6pm if you are free. I can happily send you details of everything if you drop me a line on, or call me on 07766 688018. Zoe and I and our Son, Will, would also be more than happy to meet with you and your Son in Guildford for a coffee anytime if you prefer.

All best wishes

I have moved from London and now, almost a year down the line - I..AM..LONELY !!!

I have a son at junior school and we are having trouble making friends in Surrey (Guildford).

I would like to meet gay single parent families if there is such a thing out here in Surrey.
One thing North London had to it's advantage was a fairly strong gay community, and although I wasn't a part of it then, the way my life has taken a sudden turn, I probably would be now. Surrey seems to be all 2.2 mum and dad families, who all wear the same expression. I hoped it would turn out a little more diverse. I am new to the gay community (though which one I don't yet know !) and I am finding it difficult knowing where to turn for companionship and love.
Please help.

But how many other same sex parents are there in Surrey who feel ours is a slightly harder task simply because of social acceptance?

Tell us about it and why not visit one of our groups?

Drop Nic an email at and she will tell you more!
