Victim approached by a male pretending to be a police office

Postby GaySurrey » Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:58 pm

Date: Friday 26 September 2008
Time: About 10-11pm
Location: Car Parks In and around Surrey
Details: Victim approached by a male pretending to be a police officer. Other suspect(s) then appeared and victim was threatened and assaulted.

Descriptions: Only description so far is that the male with a “crooked face” suspected of earlier incidents was involved. From previous descriptions he was white, thin, with cropped hair and a distinctive slight deformity to his face which makes it look crooked. On other occasions he has been on a pedal cycle though there was no mention of one in relation to this most recent incident.

Details are very sketchy at the moment and we are trying to get further information from the victim and encouraging him to make a formal report to the police. If we obtain any additional details we will pass them on.

Details of the incident have been passed to the Community Safety Unit of Richmond Police and to Outwest for the information of their members.

Please circulate details of the incident to relevant friends and contacts within the local LGBT community.
