Gay Surrey is working with Sigma Research and Ian Cole Health Promotion Development worker for gay men to undertake the annual Vital Statistics 2007 survey.

Vital Statistics has run every year since 1997 and is the largest single survey of gay and bisexual men in the world. It generates a wealth of information to help HIV health promoters plan their work.
As well as regular questions about sexual behaviour and HIV testing, new questions this year, include using poppers, HIV transmission and the law and Hepatitis C.
Men will also be asked for the first time whether they have entered into a civil partnership.
The survey will run until 30th August 2007.
