We are a small group looking to raise awareness to Modern slavery an unseen crime, it hides in takeaways, hotels, car washes, nail bars and private homes. There is no typical victim of slavery. Victims can be men, women and children of all ages but it is normally more prevalent amongst the most vulnerable, minority or socially excluded groups.
The LGBT community are a high risk, it is well documented that if one of our community is simply kicked out of their home for being Gay – this leaves our youth vulnerable and open to the Men and Women seeking to take then under their wings and turn tricks and get lost in a world that is so dark, you could never imagine it happens right here in Surrey.
